Nuala Murray has over 26 years of work experience, primarily in the insurance industry. Nuala started their career at Irish Life Corporate Business in 1994 as a Customer Service Administrator and later became a Service Coordinator. In 2005, they were promoted to Service Manager, where they managed a team and oversaw the administration of Group Risk schemes and claims. In December 2010, Nuala transitioned to managing the Income Protection team, handling voluntary, retail, and corporate risk claims. Nuala also handled the administration of Specified Illness claims for Corporate Business Group Risk Schemes. In 2016, Nuala joined Irish Life Health as the Senior Manager of Service Delivery Operations and was responsible for ensuring first call resolution and excellent customer experience. Currently, they serve as the Head of Customer Service & Claims, overseeing claims decisions and the overall service delivered to customers.
Nuala Murray has a diverse education history. In 1992, they completed their BA in Business Studies at Griffith College Dublin with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Following that, in 2009, they obtained an Advanced Diploma in Management from the University of Ulster, specializing in Business Management. In 2012, Nuala pursued a BSc Hons in Management Practice from the University of Ulster, covering 4 Modules & Thesis until 2013. During the same year, they also attended LIA and became an Accredited Product Advisor, specifically in Pensions. In 2017, they acquired the APA Private Medical Insurance qualification from The Insurance Institute. Lastly, in 2020, Nuala completed a Professional Diploma in Digital Transformation Management at UCD Professional Academy in 2021.
