Padraic Hayes

Padraic Hayes is the Director at Irish Wheelchair Association. Padraic has a long and varied work history that includes experience as an administrator, receptionist, and volunteer coordinator.

Padraic began their career in 2010 as a volunteer administrator for Special Olympics 2010. Padraic then went on to work as a receptionist and administrator for Ryanos Fitness Club from January 2018 to June 2019. In July 2017, they began volunteering with the Society of St Vincent de Paul, where they served as a volunteer administrator until September 2017.

From October 2012 to June 2013, Padraic worked as an administrator in the Development Office at Limerick Institute of Technology. In this role, they were responsible for dealing with the daily post, general enquiries, filing documents, creating new databases, and scanning and uploading important documents onto the work shared drive.

In June 2012, Padraic began working as an administrative support for the Careers Service at Limerick Institute of Technology. In this role, they were responsible for gathering and collecting information for an annual graduate survey of over 1000 students, contacting graduates by phone to participate in the survey, and promoting the survey using Txt Tools SMS alert software. Padraic also kept records of responses and logged postal responses. Padraic demonstrated initiative in using different communication tools to contact graduates.

Padraic Hayes has a Masters in Marketing & Business Management from the Limerick Institute of Technology, as well as a HDip in Business Management from the same school. Padraic also has a BBus (Hons) in Office Management Systems and a BA in E-Office Administration Systems, both from the Limerick Institute of Technology.
