Brian Murphey

Brian Murphey has held various sales roles in the medical device industry since 2002. Brian began their career at Allergan as a Territory Sales Manager, followed by a position at Quantel Medical as a Territory Sales Manager. In 2007, they moved to Nidek Inc. as a Territory Sales Manager, where they were responsible for selling the Nidek laser, retinal camera, and refractive lines to ophthalmologists and optometrists. In 2011, they became the Western Regional Sales Director at Optovue, where they managed 7 direct report reps, initiated new product launches, outlined compensation plans and marketing directions for the Optical Coherence Tomography line of products. In 2018, they took on the role of Sales Director Retina Surgical West at Dutch Ophthalmic USA, where they were responsible for managing 6 direct reports that covered 27 states and traveled 75% of the time. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Radius XR as the Vice President of Sales and U.S. Director of Sales, where they are the head of U.S. Sales for a novel VR/AR/XR eye testing platform.

Brian Murphey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Iowa.
