Julian Hernández Melchor

Julian Hernández Melchor has been working in the Quality Assurance field since 2009. Julian began their career at IBM as a QA Tester, where they designed and executed test cases and analyzed subsequent test results. In 2011, they joined ISBAN as a QA Analyst, where they were a key member of the QA team on a project to create a new ATM network. In 2013, they moved to Cognizant as a QA Lead, working on a project to create a Testing Factory for BBVA Bank. In 2015, they became the Head of Quality Assurance at NEC Corporation, where they coordinated internal QA teams based on Agile Testing methodology. In 2016, they joined Solera, Inc. as QA Manager for EMEA, and later became QA Manager for Global Data & Content and QA Manager for Qapter Claims. Currently, Julian is employed at IriusRisk as a QA Manager, where they are responsible for establishing a standard testing process for agile teams and designing/developing the automation engine from early stage of software lifecycle to achieve a Continuous Testing & CICD approach.

Julian Hernández Melchor obtained a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the Universidad de Salamanca between 2004 and 2008. In 2011, they obtained a certification in Types and Techniques of Test Design from IBM Global Process Services. In 2014, they obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from iSQI GmbH.
