Glen Weinstein began their work experience in 1995 as a Law Clerk for the United States Court of Federal Claims, where they assisted the Judge with reviewing briefs and motions and drafting opinions and orders. Glen then moved on to serve as a Law Clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, working under the Honorable Randall R. Rader. During this time, they reviewed appeals briefs, conducted research on various legal issues, and assisted in drafting opinions. Glen then joined Covington & Burling in 1997 as an Associate, specializing in intellectual property litigation and counseling. Their responsibilities included handling litigation, drafting patent documents, and evaluating intellectual property for financial institutions. In 2000, Glen joined iRobot Corporation as the Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and General Counsel. In this role, they oversaw all legal matters of the company, including corporate governance, intellectual property protection, litigation, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Glen also provided legal advice to the CEO and board of directors.

Glen Weinstein's education history begins in 1988 when they enrolled at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), studying Mechanical Engineering. Glen completed their undergraduate studies in 1992, earning a Bachelor of Science (SB) degree.

Following their time at MIT, Glen attended the University of Virginia School of Law from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree.

In addition to their formal education, Glen Weinstein obtained several bar admissions. In 1996, they were admitted to the New York State Bar Association. In 1997, they received admissions to the Bar Association of the District of Columbia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. In 1998, Glen obtained bar admission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Lastly, in 2002, they gained admission to the Massachusetts Bar Association.
