Orjeta Taka

Orjeta Taka serves as the Sr. Director of Innovation in R&D at iRobot, leading a cross-functional team focused on advanced development and front-end innovation. Prior to this role, Orjeta led a global team as the Director of Floorcare, overseeing the software and architecture for the Roomba product line, and directed the Smart Home team in creating digital innovations at the intersection of robotics and smart home technology. Orjeta’s experience at iRobot also includes roles as Technology Lead in iRobot Labs and Distinguished Robotics Engineer, contributing to various robotic initiatives for both commercial and military applications. Education includes a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Tufts University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Geography/Earth Science from the University of Tirana, Albania.
