Chris Radford has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. In 2008, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Maryland Primary Care Physician Management Group, where they supported ten primary care branch offices by maintaining servers, backing up mission-critical data, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity. From 2009 to 2016, they were a Technical Consultant and later a Senior Technical Consultant at Force 3, responsible for implementing secure wired and wireless network solutions using Cisco technologies. Chris worked on notable projects such as a global FlexConnect deployment and a large-scale wireless deployment for the Public Sector. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Senior Network Engineer at Presidio, leading the lifecycle of projects including the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of secure mobility solutions for a nationwide financial services organization. At World Wide Technology, they held the role of Solutions Architect from 2018 to 2019 and then became a Domain Architect from 2019 to 2023. Currently, Chris is a Senior Wireless Solutions Architect at Iron Bow Technologies.
Chris Radford began their education at Anne Arundel Community College from 2006 to 2008, where they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Afterward, from 2008 to 2012, they attended the University of Baltimore, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration.
In terms of additional certifications, Chris Radford obtained several certifications, such as ECSE Design from Ekahau in January 2023, Aruba Certified Edge Professional, and Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACSP) from Hewlett Packard Enterprise in October 2022, Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Mist AI (JNCIA-MistAI) from Juniper Networks in May 2022, and Cisco Champion 2022 from Cisco in January 2022. Chris also holds certifications such as Aruba Certified Design Professional (ACDP) from Hewlett Packard Enterprise in March 2021, Cisco Champion 2021 from Cisco in January 2021, and Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Enterprise Wireless (CCIE Enterprise Wireless) from Cisco in May 2018. In addition, they obtained the Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE) certification from CWNP in February 2017 and the Certified Wireless Network Expert | CWNP certification from Certitrek Group in June 2014. Furthermore, they hold the Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise (CCNP Enterprise) certification from Cisco in December 2011 and the CCNA certification from Cisco in July 2009. Lastly, they obtained the Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP) certification from Hewlett Packard Enterprise in October 2019.
