Dr. Jaime Venegas

Dr. Jaime Venegas has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. From 2023, they have been working as a Project Manager at Ironchip. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2023, they worked as a Researcher in Project Engineering at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, where they focused on the economic digital system generation for renewable energy exchange in smart cities using Blockchain technology. Dr. Jaime also defined power trading protocols and costs through smart contracts.

In 2021, Dr. Venegas participated in the XPLORE Program at UnternehmerTUM and worked as a Talent. Dr. Jaime also held a similar position at SUMM during the same period.

Before this, they worked as an IT Project Manager at VENCORP from 2017 to 2018 and as a Projects Management and Processes Analyst at Multibank Panama from 2015 to 2017. Dr. Jaime freelanced as an Organizational Analyst for BBVA en Colombia in 2013 and worked as an eCommerce Implementation Consultant at Sand Soccer from 2012 to 2013.

Dr. Venegas also has experience as a Quality Management System Coordinator at Industrias JILA Ltda. from 2008 to 2012 and as a Research Assistant at the Consulting Management Office at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali from 2007 to 2008.

Dr. Jaime Venegas has an extensive education history. Dr. Jaime earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, completing their studies from 2002 to 2007. Dr. Jaime later pursued a Master's degree in Project Management - EuroMPM at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, which they completed from 2018 to 2020.

Continuing their academic journey, Dr. Venegas is currently working towards a Ph.D. in Project Engineering at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, which started in 2020 and is expected to conclude in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Jaime Venegas has obtained various certifications. In 2008, they became an Internal Quality Auditor ISO 9001 through ICONTEC International. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Strategic Decisions Evaluation from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in July 2013. In May 2013, they completed a certification in Neuromarketing Introduction from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Lastly, in March 2019, they obtained certifications in Digital Marketing and Aktibatu from GARAPEN.
