Ronen Ganel

Ronen Ganel has a diverse work experience in the field of automation engineering. Starting with their current position at IRONSCALES since June 2022, they are responsible for designing and executing automated functional, API, UI, and end-to-end test cases using Java with TestNG and Selenium. Ronen also manages defects and test plans using Jira. Prior to this, they worked at Gett from December 2021 to June 2022, where they focused on designing and executing automated functional, API, and end-to-end test cases on micro-services API endpoints and DB using IntelliJ, Git, Maven, Java, TestNG, and Lombok. At CME Group, Ronen served as an automation engineer from June 2017 to December 2021. In this role, they designed and executed manual and automated test cases on micro-services as per business requirements using IntelliJ, Git, Maven, Java, Junit, Cucumber, and infrastructures. Ronen also handled defect management using Jira. Prior to CME Group, Ronen worked at IBM as a software test engineer from January 2016 to June 2017, where they were involved in virtualization management of virtual Linux servers for z/VM on IBM Mainframe. At Amdocs, their first job in the industry, Ronen worked as a software test engineer from July 2013 to December 2015. Ronen designed and executed test cases and scenarios for a billing business support system over a customer relationship management system using QC, and managed defects using QC and ATS.

Ronen Ganel completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in communication systems engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2007 to 2012. In 2014, they completed the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualification course from John Bryce, specializing in QA/Testing. In 2016, Ronen also completed the Quality 360 Experienced level course in QA/Testing from IBM. Additionally, they attended Amal1 college to become a practical engineer in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, although the start and end years for this program are not provided.
