Ran Horev

Ran Horev has held a number of positions in the software engineering industry. From 2022 to present, they have been a Software Engineer at IronVest. From 2021 to 2022, they were a Back-end Developer at BioCatch. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Software Developer at Nano Dimension, where they were responsible for designing and implementing all software layers in a multidisciplinary platform from GUI to bit level, developing and debugging with C++ and Qt, and taking an active role in the full development life-cycle in a Scrum methodology. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Software Developer and Security Analyst at Check Point Software Technologies, where they designed and implemented a cross-platform project from scratch, worked with Boost, gSoap and Xerces libraries, implemented end-to-end features and fixes in existing C++ and C#, researched vulnerabilities and attacks in various systems and protocols, developed IPS signatures, and conducted traffic analysis with WireShark. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Junior Support Specialist at dbMotion, where they identified and analyzed error encounters at customers' databases, handled system faults, and provided 2nd tier support for customers around the world.

Ran Horev obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2013. Ran then went on to receive an Engineer's Degree in Information Systems Engineering from the same university.
