Mary Lane Poe

Mary Lane Poe is a seasoned wildlife biologist with extensive experience in environmental consulting and biology. Currently serving as a Senior Biologist at Ironwood Consulting Inc since December 2023, Mary has held various roles, including Authorized Biologist at The Desert Network and SWCA Environmental Consultants, focusing on the endangered desert tortoise. Previous positions include Wildlife Biologist at Tetra Tech and Wood, where responsibilities encompassed flora and fauna management, community outreach, and generating biological reports. Additional experiences include serving as a Biological Science Technician at Rocky Mountain National Park and Yosemite National Park, and as a Seed Collection Technician for the Bureau of Land Management. Mary Lane Poe earned a B.S. from Middle Tennessee State University after initially studying at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
