We are pioneers in the development of LINZESS® (linaclotide), the U.S. branded prescription market leader for adults with irritable bowel syndrome with constipation or chronic idiopathic constipation. Ironwood is also advancing apraglutide, a next-generation, long-acting synthetic GLP-2 analog being developed for rare gastrointestinal diseases, including short bowel syndrome with intestinal failure, as well as several earlier stage assets. Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for assisting in the overall business strategy, leading go forward architecture, and streamlining functional and cross functional business processes.  The incumbent will collaborate with internal and external teams, ad-hoc and managed services to drive optimization, highly reliable operations, improvements, upgrades, and implementations.  Responsible for driving best & commonly accepted business practices & efficiencies into the overall technical and business vision.

  • Responsible for managing, maintaining, administering, and optimizing the Company’s G&A systems landscape across Legal, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Compliance, and other functional areas as assigned.
  • Provide a single point of contact with other teams for ERP (SAP Cloud) solution design enhancements.
  • Provide architecture recommendations, options, and pros/cons on potential changes to ERP landscape, implementation scope and functional solutions.
  • Ensure timely issues identification, resolution, and appropriate escalation.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and audits. (e.g. SoX)
  • Confirm compliance using IT change control and SDLC procedures.
  • Develop impact assessments as it relates to landscape changes / revisions / additions.
  • Heavy vendor management with a focus on Serviceability, Performance, Contracts, Analytics / Metrics and Relationship Management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree with at least 8+ years IT experience
  • Experience strategizing enterprise ERP systems with an emphasis on globally available applications
  • 6 + years of experience in SAP technical design / business process roles.
  • Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in ERP (HANA S/4/SAP Public Cloud) and associated systems including Reporting, Expenses (Concur), Finance & Planning, heavy integrations aspects between heterogeneous system technologies, and operating in a highly outsourced / managed service environment.

Ironwood currently anticipates that the initial base salary for this position could range from between $162,000 to $193,830.  The actual base salary will depend, in part, on the successful candidate’s qualifications for the role, including education and experience.  Ironwood offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits program to eligible employees, including Restricted Stock Unit awards; eligibility to participate in either a bonus or sales incentive program; company-sponsored 401(k) with matching contributions; eligibility for medical, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; wellness stipends; and a generous vacation/holiday schedule.
