Smita Mehta

Smita Mehta has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry. Smita is currently serving as the Associate Director of Clinical Data Management at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, where they provide leadership in data management for Phase III pivotal studies. Smita manages external vendors and ensures the delivery of high-quality and timely study outcomes. Prior to Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, they worked as a Contractor at the same company, supporting various projects. Before that, they worked at Takeda Oncology as an SSI Analyst, where they executed Phase III studies and provided data management support for Phase I and Phase II studies. Smita also held the position of Manager of Technical Operations at PAREXEL and worked as a Project Manager and Technical Consultant at Phase Forward, Inc.

Smita Mehta earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Mumbai. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Client Server Programming and Web Development from CLARK UNIVERSITY CCI in May 1999.
