Sergio M. Salazar

Sergio M. Salazar is an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer with a strong track record in optimizing manufacturing processes and implementing cost-saving projects. Currently at Irvin Products since February 2018, Sergio develops and trains in standard worksheets for manufacturing cells and coordinates cost savings initiatives. Previously at Adient, over $500K in savings was achieved through direct labor reduction projects and Kaizen events. As a Manufacturing Engineer at Alcoa Fastening Systems & Rings, Sergio implemented Lean Manufacturing and managed engineering change requests, while also serving as a Process Improvement Consultant to lead continuous improvement programs. Early career experience includes working as an Operations Leader at Kimberly-Clark, overseeing production and quality objectives for frontline operators. Sergio holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Autonoma de Coahuila.
