Neda Eaton is a visionary leader with a passion for serving the community. As President and Chief Executive Officer of the Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF), one of the leading educational foundations in the nation, she is entrusted with ensuring that high-quality enrichment programs in critical areas such as the arts, music, sciences, health and wellness and math are sustained in public schools. In her role, she is responsible for guiding the strategic visioning and direction of the foundation, program and social enterprise development, day-to-day operations and implementation of various fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
Under Neda’s leadership, IPSF has achieved tremendous success by strategically uniting the business, parent and resident community to earn the reputation of the premier educational foundation in California. Since she joined the foundation, IPSF’s total annual amount raised has increased by 183%, raising over $6.5 million annually and an operating budget of over $8 million.
Neda’s career began soon after earning her Master’s degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University, graduating summa cum laude. It was during this time that she began to work in the social service area. From 1996-2000, Neda served as a senior manager in a comprehensive residential treatment facility for high-level acute clients at Olive Crest Homes and Services for Abused Children. In 2000, she joined Boys Town USA where she moved up the ranks to run the California program and became Boys Town USA Senior Operations Officer managing an $8.9 million operating budget and serving at risk youth in both short term and long term residential treatment programs.
IPSF is relentless in fulfilling its vision of a world class education for every child and ensuring that public schools have the resources needed to nurture and grow the potential of its students. The organization is poised to continue to expand its funding for essential programs such as music instruction for every child, STEAM initiatives, robust after school and summer programs, grants to teachers for innovative teaching methods, and funding for athletic trainers and school nurses. IPSF serves as a resource to other communities and school districts in support of educational excellence.
