William Kleinau

William Kleinau possesses extensive experience in wastewater management and operations, currently serving as the Collection Systems Manager at the Irvine Ranch Water District since August 2023. In this role, William oversees the Wastewater Collection Systems for multiple cities and unincorporated areas, managing staff performance, and implementing Key Performance Indicators to meet departmental objectives. Prior to this position, William held various roles including Managing Partner at Engineered Utility Solutions LLC, Wastewater Operations Manager and Maintenance Leadperson for the City of San Gabriel, and Senior Wastewater Utility Worker in the City of Alhambra. William also has experience in retail and loss prevention as an Area Supervisor and Loss Prevention Agent at Ross Stores, Inc., and served in the US Navy as a Work Center Supervisor. William holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from California State University, Los Angeles, along with two Associate of Science degrees in Business Administration and Water Technology from Citrus College.
