Ian Wells

Ian Wells has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ian is currently the Director of Finance Manufacturing at Irving Consumer Products since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Midland Transport as the Director of Financial Reporting from 2021 to 2022, Accounting Manager from 2019 to 2021, and Business Intelligence Analyst from 2017 to 2019. Ian was also the Enterprise Application Specialist Lead at Major Drilling International, Inc. from 2012 to 2017, a Business Systems Analyst at Nova Scotia Power from 2011 to 2012, and an Intermediate Consultant at Cogsdale Corporation from 2007 to 2011.

Ian Wells completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree with a focus on Finance and Computing and Information Systems from Saint Mary's University, which they attended from 1997 to 2005. Ian later pursued further education, earning a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in Finance and Performance Management from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) from 2013 to 2016.
