David Riecken

David Riecken is a seasoned professional in engineering and operations management with extensive experience in the energy and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Rail Operations Manager at Irving Oil since January 2017, Riecken has held multiple key positions within the company, including Fleet Maintenance Manager for both Delivered Energy and Tractor Trailer Operations, as well as Contracts and Procurement Specialist. Prior to Irving Oil, Riecken worked at J.D. Irving, Limited for over seven years, taking on roles such as Reliability Engineer and TMP Maintenance Team Leader. Earlier career experiences include positions at AMEC and IPEX Inc., where Riecken contributed as a Construction Planner and Hydronic Heating Designer, respectively. Riecken began a career in engineering with a summer student position at PotashCorp and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, earned between 1999 and 2004.
