Fellipe Wurthmann

Fellipe Wurthmann began their work experience at the Prefeitura de São Paulo as an apprentice in the IT support department. During this time, they gained experience in computer formatting, user support, handling support tickets, software installation and configuration, and user network and system account management.

After their apprenticeship, they joined Youse Seguros as a Business Intelligence Intern. Here, they worked on building and maintaining ETL processes using Scala and Apache Spark. Fellipe ensured data consistency and reliability for end users and utilized Databricks for executing automated Spark processes. Fellipe also created visualizations and dashboards using Looker and contributed to the creation and maintenance of Apache Airflow DAGs for data platform workflow orchestration.

Next, Fellipe worked at Kovi as an Associate Data Engineer, where they contributed to the construction and maintenance of the company's analytical platform on AWS. Fellipe used serverless tools like Lambda, Glue, Athena, EMR, and other solutions including Kinesis Stream/Firehose, S3, Redshift, and EKS. Fellipe implemented infrastructure as code using Terraform in the production analytics environment and utilized Github Actions for continuous integration and delivery. Fellipe also built software tools to extract data from various sources such as ERPs and transactional databases.

Currently, Fellipe is working as a Data Engineer at isaac.

Fellipe Wurthmann completed their Bachelor's degree in Systems of Information at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi from 2019 to 2022. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications in "Spark Fundamentals" from Cognitive Class in January 2020 and "Big Data Essentials" from 4Linux in August 2019.
