Gokhan Polat

Gokhan Polat has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information technology governance, cybersecurity, and risk management. Gokhan started their career as the Head of Internal Audit at Bakirkoy Municipality, where they established and led an internal audit department. Gokhan then joined Ankara Üniversitesi as an Instructor, teaching Information Technology Audit in the Internal Audit and Internal Control Master Program.

Gokhan later worked at Turkiye Ic Denetim Enstitüsü (TİDE) IIA Turkey, where they served as a Tools for New Auditors Seminar Leader and Fundamentals of IT Auditing Seminar Leader. In these roles, they provided comprehensive training on auditing information systems and the latest IT auditing concepts.

Gokhan joined EY as a Senior Manager in Advisory Services, where they contributed to risk management and business development. Gokhan then took on the role of Risk Business Development Leader at EY Turkey.
