The official charter for ISC2 Malaysia Chapter was formed in January 2014 (Chapter #116).

MISSION STATEMENT
ISC2 Malaysia Chapter’s mission is to advance information security in local communities throughout the world by providing our members and other security professionals with the opportunity to share knowledge, grow professionally, educate others, and collaborate on projects.

WHAT WE DO
Our chapter programmes provide an environment for peer networking for credentialed professionals as well as non-credential professionals to promote professional development of leaders and professionals in information security.

Under each focus area, chapter would offer various activities which aligned with the chapter's goals and member’s interests:
a.	CONNECT - Professional Networking, Career Development, Job Connections, knowledge Exchange, Joint Opportunities & Social Outings.
b.	EDUCATE - Industry Expert Presentations, Study Groups, Seminars/Workshops, Curriculum Development, Continuing Professional Education (CPEs).
c.	INSPIRE - Mentor Student, Special Interest Groups, Cybersecurity Awareness, Advocacy for the Profession, Leadership Development, Professional Development.
d.	SECURE - Teaching Others to be Safe Online (Children and Seniors),  Form Partnerships with Public and Private Sector, Collaborate on Cybersecurity Awareness Projects.
