Caroline Reed has a diverse work experience in various fields. Caroline is currently working as a Project Manager at ISeeChange since 2022. Prior to this, Caroline was a Freelance Illustrator and Graphic Designer as a self-employed artist for nine years, specializing in graphic design and illustration using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Caroline also worked at Climate Interactive from 2019 to 2022, where they held multiple roles such as Communications Project Manager and Climate Communications & Program Associate. In these positions, they worked on leading communication projects, program-building, product design, and volunteer coordination. Caroline also played a significant role in diffusing climate simulation tools to international audiences through the En-ROADS Climate Ambassador program.

In 2018, Caroline worked at GreenToGo as a Graphic Design and Marketing Intern, contributing to the promotion of sustainable dining operations. Caroline also has experience in developing communication materials as part of the NC Collaboratory PFAS Testing Network at the UNC Institute for the Environment in 2019.

Caroline's research experience includes working as a Graduate Research Assistant at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health in 2018, analyzing the impact of toxic metals on vulnerable populations. Caroline also served as a Research Fellow at Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment in 2018, investigating developmental arsenic exposure.

In 2017, Caroline participated in the NIEHS Scholars Connect Program at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, where they received biomedical research training. As an undergraduate, they worked as a Research Assistant at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, contributing to research on reproductive toxicology and surveillance of antibiotic-resistant bacteria in wastewater.

Caroline's passion for global health led their to serve as the Global Health University Team Leader at GlobeMed, a student-led organization promoting global health equity.

Overall, Caroline Reed has gained extensive experience in project management, graphic design, communication, research, and global health initiatives throughout their career.

Caroline Reed completed their Bachelor of Science degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2014 to 2018. Their major was in Environmental Health Science and Engineering, with a second major in Studio Art. Following their undergraduate studies, Caroline pursued a Masters of Science degree in Public Health with a specialization in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering at the same university. Caroline started their master's program in 2018 and completed it in 2019.
