Commercial Director, Singapore & Malaysia + Head Of Insights, Asia at Isentia

Prashant Saxena has extensive experience in the field of insights and marketing. Prashant currently holds the position of Commercial Director for Isentia in Singapore and Malaysia, where they also serve as the Head of Insights for Asia. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Insights for Southeast Asia at Isentia. Prashant has also held roles such as Insights & Innovation Director at Isentia and Business Director at Brandscapes Worldwide, where they focused on customer journeys, segmentation, and product innovation insights.

In addition to their industry roles, Prashant has been involved in academia as an Adjunct Faculty member at ESSEC Business School, where they combine industry trends with consumer behavior theory to educate future marketers. Prashant has also served as an Adviser for the *SCAPE SG entrepreneurship programming cluster, providing guidance on media, marketing, artificial intelligence, and analytics to start-ups.

Prashant has held leadership positions in industry organizations, including serving as the Vice Chair for the Asia Pacific region at AMEC Measurement and Evaluation, the world's largest media intelligence and insights professional organization.

Earlier in their career, Prashant worked as an Associate Director at Kantar and AFFLUENTIAL™, where they conceptualized and launched the Affluential SaaS platform on affluent consumer intelligence. Prashant also gained experience as a Market Researcher at the National University of Singapore and a Marketing Consultant at Google, where they worked on digital consulting projects for Orkut and Greenpeace.

Prashant Saxena has an extensive education background. Prashant started their education journey at Visvesvaraya Technological University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics from 2001 to 2005. Prashant then pursued an MBA in Marketing at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from 2006 to 2008.

After completing their MBA, Prashant continued their academic pursuits at the National University of Singapore. Prashant obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Consumer Behavior from 2009 to 2011.

In 2013, they attended the University of Cambridge, specifically the IGNITE program at Judge Business School. Here, they focused on Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Studies.

Most recently, Prashant embarked on a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Communication and Media Studies at Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Prashant is expected to complete this degree from 2022 to 2026.

In addition to their formal education, Prashant Saxena has also obtained several certifications. Prashant earned the "Innovator 25, APAC" certification from PRovoke Media in November 2020. In October 2019, they became a Certified Member (CM) of the Forbes Communications Council. Furthermore, they completed the ASEAN Leadership Programme offered by Common Purpose in July 2017.
