Mariam Mamedli

Mariam Mamedli, PhD, has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Mariam is currently serving as the Head of Product at ISI Emerging Markets Group. Prior to this, they were a Member at Uncommon, where they focused on connecting and empowering female leaders. Mariam also held the position of Head of Market Intelligence at Acronis. Earlier in their career, Mariam served as the Head of Product at DiviAI and held multiple roles at the National Research University — Higher School of Economics, including Project Lead and Researcher. Mariam also worked at the Bank of Russia as Deputy Head and Chief Economist, and at UniCredit Bank - Russia as a Senior Economist and Economist. Mariam's expertise was recognized by the OECD - OCDE, where they worked as an Expert for an international project.

Mariam Mamedli, PhD, has a strong academic background in economics. Mariam obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a focus on Economic modeling and economic policy from the Higher School of Economics in 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Economics at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2012-2013. In the same year, they also completed a Master's degree in Economics at the Paris School of Economics.

In 2013, Mariam enrolled in the Higher School of Economics to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics. During their doctoral studies, they focused on an unknown field of study. Mariam successfully completed their Ph.D. in 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Mariam has also obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Mariam completed the Oxford Machine Learning Summer School (ML in Finance track) at the University of Oxford in August 2022. In August 2020, they obtained a certification in Data-driven product management from GoPractice, Inc. In May 2019, Mariam received a certification as a Data Scientist with Python after completing 84 hours of coursework at DataCamp. Mariam also completed a certificate program in MACROECONOMICS, specifically in Macroeconomics useful for Policy, at the Paris School of Economics in June 2017.

Moreover, Mariam has professional certifications such as DSAx: Debt Sustainability Analysis from the International Monetary Fund, which they obtained in November 2014. Furthermore, in September 2011, they received a Certificate in Business French from the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
