Jose Cabello

Jose Cabello has a diverse range of experience in the conservation field. Jose started their career in 2004 at the Agricultural and Livestock Service of Chile (SAG), where they served as a Project Manager for invasive species until 2011. From 2011 to 2019, they worked as the Director at Patagoniawildlife, gaining valuable leadership skills. In 2018, they joined Island Conservation as an Island Restoration Specialist for one year before being promoted to Chile Program Manager/Gerente para Chile. In 2021, they assumed the role of Head of Operations for Latin America at Island Conservation.

Jose Cabello obtained a degree in Medico Veterinario from Universidad de Concepción between 1994 and 2004. Their field of study was MSC manejo y conservación de RN.
