James Glade

James Glade has over 20 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on healthcare organizations. James is currently the Human Resources Director at Island Health since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as HR Director at Capital Medical Center from February 2018 to December 2021, where they oversaw HR functions for a 107-bed hospital. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as the HR Director at Penn Highlands Clearfield, responsible for HR functions and managing labor relations. James has also held various HR roles at Mountain West Medical Center, Magic Valley Regional Medical Center, Twin Falls Clinic and Hospital, and Hillcrest Care Center, where they gained experience in recruitment, employee relations, policy development, and training.

James Glade obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a minor in Family Sciences from Brigham Young University in 1998. James later pursued a Master of Social Sciences degree in Human Resources from Utah State University's Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, completing it in the period of 1998-2001.
