Jon Scallan has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry, starting as a Combat Medic/Mental Health Specialist in the US Army from 1997 to 2003. Jon then transitioned to civilian healthcare roles, working as a Regulatory Compliance Coordinator and later as a Regulatory Compliance Manager at Kootenai Health from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they served as a Regional Director of Accreditation at St. Luke's Health System. Jon then joined St. Peter's Hospital as a Director of Quality and Patient Safety from 2017 to 2020. Jon continued their career as the Chief Quality Officer at WhidbeyHealth Medical Center from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Jon holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at CanvasCare Health Partners and also serves as the Director of Quality & Risk/Compliance Officer at Island Health starting from 2022.
Jon Scallan has a diverse education history. Jon earned a B.A. in Psychology from Argosy University Twin Cities in 2005. In 2009, they completed their MBA/HCM in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix. Jon also holds a high school diploma from Spring High from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, Jon Scallan has obtained the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality® (CPHQ) certification from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) in December 2022.
