Director Strategic Initiatives at Island Health - Vancouver Island Health Authority

Kerry Morrison has had extensive work experience in the healthcare sector. From 2014 onwards, they worked at Island Health - Vancouver Island Health Authority, where they held various positions. Kerry started as the Manager of the Office of the EVP and Chief Operating Officer & EVP and Chief Medical Officer from January 2014 to August 2015. Kerry then became the Director of North Island Hospitals Operations and Transformation, responsible for planning and implementing the transition for staff, physicians, and volunteers at two hospitals into new campuses. From October 2017 to March 2019, they served as the Director of North Island Hospital Clinical Operations, leading clinical operations at two acute care community hospitals and overseeing the expansion of surgical services. Kerry'smost recent role at Island Health is the Director of Strategic Initiatives, which they started in April 2019. Prior to their work at Island Health, Kerry held the position of Clinical Nurse Educator at Vancouver Island Health Authority from 2008 to 2011.

Kerry Morrison attended The University of British Columbia from 2009 to 2010, where they pursued a field of study in EMBA. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1999, Kerry attended Camosun College, where they completed an RN Diploma in Nursing. Kerry also attended the University of Victoria, although the specific years are unknown, and obtained a BSN degree in Nursing.
