Steve Beard possesses extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Lead Operator Subsea at Island Operating Company since February 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing remote operations of subsea wells and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Previously, Beard held various roles at Wood from 2004 to 2020, including Projects Operations Advisor and Operations Readiness Advisor, focusing on the development of operational procedures and enhancing team competencies. Earlier positions at Kerr McGee Chemical and Grand Isle Shipyard involved production operations and welding, respectively.
