Eugene Luzgin, MBA, MCS has a strong background in technology and engineering with experience in various leadership roles. Eugene is currently the VP of Engineering at Island Pay. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineering Manager at GameStop where they led the wallet team and managed backend infrastructure services. Before GameStop, Eugene was a Blockchain Engineer at Wyre, where they oversaw the integration of Blockchain technology into the payment system and mentored a team of developers. Eugene also worked as a Middleware Engineer at MX, focusing on banking infrastructure and integration with banking COREs. Additionally, they held positions as a Principal Engineer at Digital Guardian and Consensus Corporation, as well as a Senior Software Lead at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. In these roles, Eugene led the development and improvement of various applications and systems.
