Edison Machado Jr., MD, MBA has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Edison served as the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President at IPRO, where they led corporate strategic planning and business development activities. Edison was also responsible for overseeing the corporate quality management system and serving as the Medical Director for the eServices group. Before that, they worked at the National Quality Forum as the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, where they assisted in designing tools for performance measurement and supported community applications of healthcare quality and efficiency. Additionally, they worked as the Medical Director and Programs Leader at Bridges To Excellence, where they directed physician reward programs and supported the development of the performance assessment system. Edison started their career as a Medicine Resident at NYP-Weill Cornell Med Ctr, where they managed inpatient care and served as a Primary Care Physician.

Edison Machado Jr., MD,MBA, completed their education in a chronological sequence. Edison first attended Cornell University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Neurobiology. Following this, they enrolled at the Yale University School of Medicine and pursued a MD degree from 2000 to 2005. During their medical studies, from 2003 to 2005, they also studied at the Yale School of Management and completed a Master's in Business Administration (MBA).
