Paul Murgatroyd 🏝

Paul Murgatroyd has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2000. Paul began their career as a Core Client Specialist at AstraZeneca, where they were responsible for the evaluation and testing of new desktop hardware. Paul then moved to IBM Global Services, where they were a Global Client Specialist, developing language builds of the AstraZeneca Desktop Client. In 2003, they joined CSC - Computer Sciences Corporation as a Build Certification Engineer, responsible for packaging applications and liaising with site contacts. Paul then returned to AstraZeneca as a Technical Architect, where they developed the latest client update and associated automated test procedures for the US user base. In 2020, they joined Forcepoint as a Senior Sales Engineer and SE Manager, UK Strategic, Public Sector & Nordics. Paul also joined ESPROFILER as an Advisor & Investor. Most recently, they joined Island as a Presales Engineer in 2022.

Paul Murgatroyd completed their A-Levels in Maths, Physics, and History from Heathfield High School between 1993 and 2000. Paul has since obtained several certifications, including VMware Sales Professional 5 and VMware Technical Sales Professional 5 from VMware in 2011, GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst (GCFA) from GIAC Certifications in 2019, GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner from GIAC in 2015, Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council in 2018, Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance in 2014, SAFe Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2014, and Certified Specialist - Endpoint Protection from Symantec.
