Ioanna Livaniou

Ioanna Livaniou is a seasoned professional in the water management sector with extensive experience, currently serving as the Managing Director for Northern Europe at Isle Utilities since June 2015. In this role, Ioanna leads various initiatives including European and Industrial Water TAG innovation forums and oversees technical consulting projects focused on market studies and technology assessment. Prior to this, Ioanna conducted a graduation project at Vitens, researching asset management strategies for drinking water companies across multiple countries. Previous roles include student researcher at Tenda Pamoja Kenya Foundation, where Ioanna assessed water infrastructure for schools in Kenya, and an internship at S&B focusing on air quality control. Educational qualifications include a Master of Civil Engineering in Water Management from Delft University of Technology and additional degrees in Environmental and Sanitary Engineering and Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Crete.
