Lauren Former

Lauren Former is a Water Technology Consultant at Isle Utilities, specializing as a Subject Matter Expert and Technical Lead on PFAS and CECs since November 2021. With extensive experience in water management practices, Lauren advises global clients on issues such as emerging contaminants, water reuse, and drought resilience. Previous roles include serving as a Fulbright Research Scholar, where research focused on bioinorganic chemistry to improve water clarity by degrading pollutants like BPA. Other notable positions include technical writing at Vyaire Medical, research in synthetic bioorganometallic chemistry, and involvement in global entrepreneurship programs addressing climate change. Lauren holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Resource Management from the Technical University of Munich and dual degrees in Chemistry and German Studies from Trinity College-Hartford.
