Giovanni Zito

Giovanni Zito is a researcher with extensive experience in the fields of genomics and proteomics, particularly in oncology and endocrine-metabolic diseases. Current positions include a researcher at ISMETT since October 2020 and former postdoctoral researcher at Fondazione Ri.MED. Prior roles include an assegnista di ricerca at the ATen Center, focusing on cellular cultures and cytometry, and research positions at Università degli Studi di Palermo and Yale University’s Genetics Department. Giovanni Zito holds a Ph.D. in Genomics and Proteomics from Università degli Studi di Palermo, alongside degrees in Medical Biotechnology and Biomedical Biotechnology. Education was completed at the Liceo Scientifico Statale Ernesto Basile.
