Luc Poulin is a highly experienced professional with extensive expertise in cybersecurity and application security across various organizations. Currently serving as a Board Member at Cercle-i since January 2021, Luc facilitates and supports innovation capacities in Quebec companies. As a Canadian Delegate for ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 41 since May 2017, Luc contributes to international standard drafts and serves as the project editor for the ISO/IEC 30149 Internet of Thing Trustworthiness Frameworks. Luc also holds the position of CEO and Senior Information/Application Security Advisor at Cogentas inc. since June 2010, leading numerous security-related projects. With a substantial impact in international standardization efforts, Luc is involved in multiple ISO/IEC committees and has co-authored key documents in application security, including the ISO/IEC 27034 series. Previously, Luc has held various roles, including Director of Information Technology at Elections Canada and Chief Security Officer at CRIM. Luc's educational background includes a Research Doctorate in Software Engineering from École de technologie supérieure and multiple degrees from Université Laval.
