Christian Thompson has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering. Christian started their career at Lockheed Martin as a Senior Associate Software Engineer, where they developed and maintained C++/UNIX software and supported UNIX Defense Message System components. Christian then joined Inserso as a Senior Software Engineer, leading software projects and managing client relationships. After that, they worked at isolved as a Senior Software Engineer and later as the Director of Product Development, overseeing the development of the iSolved workforce management system. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Development at isolved, leading a large engineering team and implementing strategies to improve software quality and predictability. Christian also has personal project experience, including the development of pyAirplane, a 2D flight simulator written in Python.

Christian Thompson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Christian later pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence from George Mason University, completing their studies from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, Christian holds a certification in Statistical Learning from Stanford Online, obtained in 2022.
