Markel Whisonant

Markel Whisonant has a diverse work experience in the field of business development, sales management, and customer care. Markel currently holds the position of Senior Director of Business Development at isolved, where they manage a team and oversees the cultivation of relationships and generation of new business opportunities. Prior to this, they served as an Inside Sales Manager at Komet USA LLC, where they trained and managed a team of sales specialists, implemented new processes and tools, and facilitated collaboration between departments. Markel's earlier experience includes a 12-year tenure at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, where they began as an Account Manager and eventually became a Customer Care Supervisor. In this role, they consistently surpassed performance objectives, managed a team of Inside Sales Representatives, and played a key role in executing marketing strategies and sales promotions.

Markel Whisonant holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Pre-Law from North Carolina Central University.
