Joss Briody

Joss Briody is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Isomorphic Labs since July 2022, with a strong background in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Prior to this role, Joss served as a Senior AI Research Engineer at Bloomberg LP, contributing to projects in information retrieval, natural language processing (NLP), and distributed systems from March 2020 to June 2022. Joss also held the position of AI Scientist at BenevolentAI from June 2017 to March 2020, focusing on target identification and biomedical relation extraction. Earlier experience includes a volunteering role at Balloon Ventures and a summer analyst position at Goldman Sachs in quantitative strategy for the commodities desk. Joss's academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Machine Learning and Computational Statistics from UCL and two Master's degrees in Theoretical Physics and Physics from the University of Cambridge.
