Vahid Bateni

Vahid Bateni is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as an NSF/ASEE Post-Doctoral Fellow at iSono Health since April 2022, Vahid has previously held roles as a Research and Teaching Assistant and Instructor of Record at Virginia Tech College of Engineering from September 2012 to December 2020, and as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Northern Illinois University from January 2009 to December 2011. Vahid's earlier experience includes positions as a Design Engineer at IRITEC from January 2008 to January 2009 and as an R&D Engineer at ZAMYAD Comm. Vehicle Manufacturing from 2003 to 2007. Vahid holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech (2021), a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University (2011), another Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology (2003), and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution (2000).
