Jérôme Michallon, phD

application and system validation manager at ISORG

Jérôme Michallon, PhD has a diverse work experience. From 2020 to present, they have been working at Isorg as an Application and System Validation Manager, an Application Team Leader, and an Optical Engineer. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Research Engineer at IMRA Europe S.A.S., where they were responsible for sample manufacturing, photoluminescence bench design and set up, and sample characterization. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Research Engineer at IPVF (Institut photovoltaïque d'Ile-de-France), where they were responsible for the design and characterization of ultra-thin solar cells. From 2011 to 2015, they were a PhD student at Grenoble INP IMEP-LAHC/LMGP, where they developed a RCWA optical simulation code in C++, optimized the ZnO/CdTe nano-wire array absorption, and manufactured samples. In 2011, they did an internship at the University of Cambridge, where they were responsible for electrical modelling of a single photon source. In 2010, they did an internship at Cardiff University, where they were responsible for charge transport analysis in quantum dot diode lasers.

Jérôme Michallon obtained their PhD from Université de Grenoble in 2014, in the field of Micro and Nano Electronics. Prior to that, they earned a Research Master from Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) in 2011, specializing in Nanophysique et Nanostructures. Jérôme also obtained an Ingénieur degree from Grenoble INP - UGA in 2011, majoring in Physics and Nanosciences. Theireducational journey began with a DUT from Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) in 2008, in the field of Mesures Physiques.
