Peter Swann, M.D., FACOEM, FAAFP

Peter Swann, M.D., FACOEM, FAAFP has extensive experience in the medical field. From 2010 to 2014, they served as a Consulting Medical Director for WorkCare, Inc., Bayer, Tesoro Corporation, Newmont Mining Corporation, and Grifols. In addition, they were Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of ISOThrive Inc. from 2010 to 2015, and a Board of Trustees member at UC Merced from 2015 to present. From 2005 to present, they have been an active member of the Western Occupational and Environmental Medical Association (WOEMA), serving as Secretary, Legislative Chair, and Editor. During their tenure, they championed and led increased Society involvement in legislative and regulatory matters, authored an ongoing Utilization Review column, and represented WOEMA in California regulatory and legislative matters.

Peter Swann, M.D., FACOEM, FAAFP has an extensive educational history. Peter attended Van Buren District Secondary School from 1974 to 1979, Dartmouth College from 1979 to 1983, earning a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, and Tufts University School of Medicine from 1984 to 1988, earning a Doctor of Medicine. Peter also attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2000 to 2001, studying Business Administration and Management, General. In addition, they have obtained certifications from the CITI Program for GCP for Clinical Trials with Investigational Drugs and Biologics (ICH Focus) Course in January 2023 and from the American Association of Medical Review Officers, Inc. (AAMRO) for Medical Review Officer.
