Katherine Gilliam

Katherine Gilliam is a highly experienced aerospace engineer currently serving as a Senior Mission Operations Engineer and Flight Director at ispace, inc., responsible for mission operation design, validation, and execution for the M2 lunar lander mission. Previously, Katherine held the role of Flight Director for ispace's M1 lunar lander mission and worked as a Flight Test Operations Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where responsibilities included acting as a “CapCom” and “Flight Director” during flight tests. Katherine also gained valuable experience as an F-16 Flight Test and Stability Intern at Lockheed Martin and completed internships at Sierra Nevada Corporation, Virgin Galactic, and Lockheed Martin's F-35 program. Katherine earned a Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
