Melissa Valdez

Melissa Valdez (Church) has over a decade of experience in human resources and payroll. Melissa began their career as a Payroll/ Human Resource Assistant at Villa Rancho Bernado in 2011 and later became a Payroll Coordinator at Silverado Care. Melissa then worked as a Senior Payroll Specialist at RGP, where they handled high-level payroll responsibilities for over 4,000 employees. Melissa currently serves as the Sr. Director of Talent and Culture at iSpot.tv, where they oversee talent management and HR operations. Their expertise includes payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR support.

Melissa Valdez (Church) earned their Associate's degree from Saddleback College in 2008, followed by a Bachelor's of Arts in Public Administration from San Diego State University-California State University in 2010. Prior to these, they completed their high school education at Aliso Niguel High School from 2002 to 2006. In addition, they obtained certifications in Human Resources Management from eCornell in 2021 and Fundamental Payroll Certification.
