Amir Geva

EVP, North America at Israel Aerospace Industries

Amir Geva has served as the Executive Vice President of North American Affairs, since June 2021. As part of his role Geva promotes marketing activity and collaborations in North America, including cooperation with local vendors and actualizing the aid agreement between the US and Israel. Geva joined IAI after decades of service in the IDF and in Israel’s Ministry of Defense, where he served in both operational and technological roles. Between 2017 and 2020 Geva served as the Research and Development attaché in Washington, D.C, prior to which, between 2013-2017, he served as Head of the Land Systems and Special Forces Division at the Administration for the Development of Weapons and Technological Infrastructure at Israel's Ministry of Defense. Prior to this Geva served as the Head of the Anti-Tank and Land Missiles Branch at the Ministry of Defense, and served in other key roles in the ministry as well as in commanding roles in the IDF.

During his military service, Geva was awarded several prizes for his contributions to Israel’s security in developing globally groundbreaking systems that are a key component of Israel’s defense. He received an award from the Head of the Administration for the Development of Weapons and Technological Infrastructure for creative thinking in defense, a mark of appreciation from the head of DARPA for his personal contribution to strengthening cooperation between Israel and the US, and the Order of Merit from the Commander of the Armored Corps in the IDF for his role on the battlefield.

Geva holds a B.Sc. degree from Ben Gurion University in the Negev in Industrial Engineering and Management, with a specialty in information systems. He also underwent extensive training in leadership, combat training, command and project management.
