Alan Fernandes

Since 2013, Alan Fernandes has worked at ICL Group, starting as a Process Engineer responsible for Calcium Phosphates production. Alan focused on process control, optimization, process safety, as well as packaging optimization and development. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Production Supervisor leading operational and process engineering teams in charge of phosphates and blends operations at the Sã José dos Campos plant. Since 2019, they have held the role of Operations Manager, overseeing Production, Maintenance, Projects, and Quality teams at the same plant. Before that, Alan worked as a Process Engineer at Monsanto from December 2010 to September 2013.

Alan Fernandes earned a degree in Biochemistry Engineering from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, which they attended from 2006 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Specialist degree in Industrial Automation & Control at Universidade de Taubaté from 2012 to 2013. Alan later obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in People Management and Leadership from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, where they studied from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, Alan has obtained several certifications including Process Hazards Analysis Methodology and Leadership from Monsanto do Brasil, Lean Manufacturing from Monsanto do Brasil, DeltaV System Advanced Configuration from Emerson Process Management, and DeltaV System Basic Configuration from Emerson Process Management.
