Philip Harvey

Philip Harvey has extensive experience in procurement and engineering, currently serving as Head of Global Indirect Procurement for Mining & Capital Equipment at ICL Group since January 2015, where responsibilities include coordinating global procurement efforts and analyzing savings and technical opportunities. Previous positions include Global Sourcing Manager at GlencoreXstrata Plc and Manager of Mechanical Engineering at Xstrata Coal, where Philip focused on project work, maintenance management, and support for process engineers. Additional roles include Mechanical Engineer, UG Conveyor Design Engineer at Elton Conveyors, and Undergraduate Design Engineer at Wollongong Truck Body Builders. Early career experiences also include working as a ski patroller at Perisher Blue Pty Ltd and as an Undergraduate Mechanical Engineer at INVAP on the OPAL nuclear reactor. Philip holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wollongong and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
