Steve Frankel

Steve Frankel holds extensive experience in educational and travel organizations. Currently serving as Director of Onward Israel at Israel Experience® since December 2018, Steve previously worked as Operations Officer at Tayelet Travel Tours from January 2017 to December 2018, focusing on travel to Israel and other destinations. Steve directed the Mikdash Educational Center from January 2014 to December 2016, contributing significantly to the non-profit's mission related to the Beit HaMikdash. Additional leadership roles include serving as co-chairman at Lapid, advocating for financial aid in short-term Israel programs, and successfully transitioning the structure of Bnei Akiva as the National Director and Director of Israel Programs from 1995 to 2012. Early career experience includes owning a plumbing service and working as a tax auditor for the Internal Revenue Service. Steve holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government, and Jewish Studies from Brooklyn College, in addition to education from the Rabbinical Seminary of America.
