Dr. Zachi Karni

Dr. Zachi Karni is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and development within the fields of computer science and engineering. As the owner of Karni3D since April 2019, Dr. Karni has also served as a professional expert and evaluator for the Israel Innovation Authority and the European Commission since 2006. Previous roles include research engineer at Snap Inc., research scientist at Intel Corporation focusing on perceptual computing, and senior research scientist at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories. Dr. Karni holds multiple degrees from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, including a Ph.D. in Computer Science and an MBA, and has engaged in academia as an adjunct lecturer and postdoctoral researcher.
