Shira Asa-El

Shira Asa-El is an accomplished professional in the field of cyber security and technology, currently serving as the Cyber Security R&D Group Lead at the Israel Defense Forces since June 2023. As a Co-Founder of Senior-it since March 2022 and an Instructor & Mentor at MEET - Middle East Education through Technology since 2012, Shira has demonstrated a commitment to both innovation and education. Shira completed an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and a Master of Science from Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in May 2023, building on a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science obtained from The Open University of Israel between 2017 and 2020. Prior experience includes leadership roles at the Israel Defense Forces from 2014 to 2021, where Shira advanced from Full Stack Engineer to Research Development Group Lead.
